Benevolence Assistance

Our Assistance Programs will be closed from Wednesday, December 11 through Sunday, January 5 so our volunteers can enjoy Christmas with their families. We will reopen on Monday, January 6.

The Benevolence Team at Cornerstone exists to bring light and love to our neighbors by providing financial assistance to our community. Using dedicated funds from Cornerstone Church, we can help our neighbors in need with assistance including bill paying (electric, rent, etc), household items, clothing, school supplies, food, gas and other essential items. We also partner with other community organizations to best support and love our neighbors.

In order to apply for assistance, please follow the instructions below:

1. Fill out the entire Application for Assistance to the best of your ability. Click here for application. Please Note: we cannot process any applications without the budget portion of the application filled out.

2. One of our team members will be in touch with you to schedule a meeting to review your form and your needs so we can assess how we can best help you. Sometimes we can directly help with a need and other times there are other organizations better suited to set you on a path to success. By filling out the application, you are giving Cornerstone Church and it's Benevolence team volunteers permission to coordinate with other agencies on your behalf and research public records to verify information.

3. Our team will assess how we can best help you based on the resources we have. 4. One of our team members will contact you with any decisions made.

Any assistance will be paid directly to the individual/organization/company where money is due or a gift card will be given. We do not give out cash nor do we keep cash or gift cards on hand at the church.

Our team is made of volunteers who desire to love their neighbors. This process can take up to 2 weeks. We typically cannot help with emergency requests.
